Bolton Gun Club Air are located on the 4th floor at Brooklands Mill. We offer Air Gun shooters of all abilities and interests a venue in which they can enjoy their shooting in warmth & safety.
The Range benefits from a wide range of targets from the traditional paper scoring targets to a range of knock down field targets. We also have towers that can enable shooters to go "head to head" with the loser buying the coffees!
A 50yd range for the shooters wishing to sample the targets on offer, and another 50yd range for the field target shooters.
We also have a dedicated Archery Range at 15 and 18 Metres with 2 lanes for recreational and competition use.
Unfortunately we cannot allow catapults on the archery range as they damage the target bosses.
For the pistol shooters we have a dedicated 10 metre range which has been updated to ISSF standard.
At Bolton Gun Club we aim to make air rifle shooting as accessible for all shooters of all ages and experience levels. At our air rifle range we will make sure that you are comfortable and have everything that you need to shoot. We have club guns if you do not own one yourself, and we have a shop stocking pellets and equipment for you to purchase. There are no real clothing requirements as air rifles have very little recoil.
When you arrive at our air rifle range, you will be greeted by a member of staff who will ask you to sign in.
Please note that no one under the age of 16 will be allowed to register or shoot without a parent or guardian present.
If it is your first time shooting, a member of staff will ensure that you are completely safe throughout your visit as your safety is our priority. They will always be around to help you with anything that you might need. The member of staff will also explain our club rules and safety policies to you to allow you a fun yet safe visit.
For the PCP Shooters we have Free Air bottles for you to use (so no using a pump)
A selection of hot and cold snacks and drinks will be available for you to purchase or feel free to bring your own refreshments, but remember that alcohol and shooting do not mix, and that alcoholic drinks may not be consumed.
